Motorstyrelsen har udsendt nye retningslinjer for brug af mandskabsvogne.

Virksomheder skal være sikre på, hvad de må benytte mandskabsvognene til. Derfor har Motorstyrelsen udsendt nyt vejledningsmateriale til de virksomheder, som ejer mandskabsvogne. Målet er, at der sker færre afgiftsreguleringer og bliver uddelt et mindre antal bøder i fremtiden.

Mandskabsvogne er fritaget for afgift, og de må derfor udelukkende anvendes i arbejdsmæssige sammenhænge. I forbindelse med en række kontroller i 2019 fik flere ejere af mandskabsvogne et krav om at betale registreringsafgift og en bøde, fordi den blev brugt til privatkørsel. Det er den situation, Motorstyrelsen nu forsøger at undgå ved at informere virksomhederne om reglerne.
