Bilsalget i maj 2021 kan opsummeres i tre punkter:

1. Plugin hybridbiler sikrer stabilisering af samlet bilsalg.
2. Jævn fremgang til elbiler.
3. Volkswagen dominerer elbilssalget – Ford hybridsalget.

1. Plugin hybridbiler sikrer genrejsning i maj 2021-tal

Salget af nye biler i Danmark er efterhånden tilbage på niveau fra før coronakrisens indtog. Det viser de seneste bilsalgstal fra De Danske Bilimportører. 16.825 biler blev det til i 2021’s femte måned, hvilket godt nok er 5.400 flere biler end i maj 2020, men som stadig er et stykke efter maj måned i 2019 og 2018.

Men hvor fordelingen af drivmidler for blot nogle få år siden primært kunne opdeles mellem benzin og diesel, har plugin hybridbilerne igen sat rekord, så godt hver femte indregistrering af en ny bil i maj 2021 var en plugin hybrid.

“Udviklingen er for mig udtryk for, at et stort antal danskere gerne vil købe biler på strøm, og at de opladelige hybrider sikrer dem en vis tryghed, hvis de kører i landsdele, hvor der er langt mellem ladestandere. Derfor vælger mange den her middelvej, hvor de har benzin- eller dieselmotorer som backup”, siger Gitte Seeberg, adm. direktør i AutoBranchen Danmark.

2. Fremgang til elbiler på det jævne

Isolerer man analysen af bilsalget til elbiler, er der tale om en fremgang på det jævne, som ikke springer nogle rammer. 6,9% af de ny-indregistrerede biler i maj 2021 var rene elbiler, hvilket er en svag fremgang i forhold til april 2021.

“Den lidt mere afdæmpende fremgang for elbilerne kan skyldes længere leveringstider på visse modeller og en smule tilbageholdenhed blandt forbrugerne, der måske går og venter på næste generation af elbilerne, som måske lægger de sidste ekstra kilometer til deres rækkevidde, så flere bliver forsikret om, at de ikke løber tør”, forklarer Gitte Seeberg.

Med de seneste indregistreringer findes der nu rundt regnet 40.000 elbiler i Danmark ud af over 2,7 millioner personbiler i alt, hvilket stadig betyder, at elbilerne udgør under 2% af den samlede bilpark i Danmark.

VW og Ford sidder på batterierne

Konkurrencen på at levere el- og hybridbiler er spidset til de senere år, og autobranchen er stadig inde i en fase, hvor der lanceres et hav af nye elektriske bilmodeller.

Lige nu domineres elbilssalget i Danmark af Volkswagen, der med ID. 3 og ID. 4 sætter de andre mærker til vægs. Sammenlagt står de to bilmodeller for knap 25% af elbilssalget. På plugin hybriddelen er Ford Kuga stadig den ultimative danskerfavorit, og den model sidder alene på næsten 20% af det samlede plugin hybridsalg.

“De to mærker ser ud til at have ramt det rigtige tidspunkt med et prisniveau, som mange danske forbrugere kan være med på. Hertil kan bemærkes, at både Ford Kuga og ID. 4 går under segmentet SUV, som jo virkelig tiltrækker de danske bilkøbere lige nu”, fortæller Gitte Seeberg.
