Du har sandsynligvis gennemført eller hørt om en Arbejdspladsvurdering (APV), der belyser det fysiske og psykiske arbejdsmiljø i bilhuset eller på værkstedet. Men har du også hørt om en kemisk APV?

En kemisk APV er en risikovurdering af jeres brug, opbevaring og håndtering af farlig kemi. Det gælder eksempelvis maling, lak, alle limtyper, renseprodukter, olieprodukter eller tilsvarende, der bruges af autolakere, karrosseriteknikere, klargøringspersonalet, salgspersonalet og øvrige.

Jesper Hviid Nielsen, direktør for ABAS Miljøservice, som AutoBranchen Danmark samarbejder med, uddyber, hvorfor det er vigtigt at gennemføre en kemisk APV:

“Det er arbejdsgiverens pligt at lave en detaljeret vurdering af de kemiske produkter, medarbejderne bruger. Det er lige meget, om produkterne bruges jævnligt eller sjældent. Ud fra produkternes piktogrammer og sikkerhedsdatablade skal man udarbejde en risikovurdering”, siger Jesper Hviid Nielsen.

Instruktion på skrift eller video

Arbejdstilsynet har for nyligt meldt ud, at man i den kommende tid vil sætte mere fokus på virksomheder, der beskæftiger sig med både overfladebehandling og autobranchen som helhed. Desværre er det Jesper Hviid Nielsen opfattelse, at der er langt mellem de kemiske APV’er i autobranchen.

“Alt for mange ved ikke, at det er lovkrav at lave en kemisk APV og samtidig have en instruktion til den forsvarlige brug af de enkelte produkter liggende. Man kan dog lave instruktionen på både skrift, video, grafik eller en anden god måde. Det vigtigst er, at man har taget stilling til produkterne og instrueret medarbejderne i at bruge dem forsvarligt med de rette værnemidler”, forklarer Jesper Hviid Nielsen.
