Lørdag den 14. august blev arealkravet afskaffet i autobranchens salgslokaler. Dermed er branchen fri til igen at bestemme antallet af kunder i salgslokalerne.

Efter knap halvandet år med en række corona-restriktioner og to måneders tvungen nedlukning af salgslokalerne, er autobranchen ikke længere underlagt restriktioner.

Den sidste restriktion, der udløb lørdag, var arealkravet, der afgjorde hvor mange kunder der måtte være i den enkelte butik. Siden 1. august har det krav været 2 kvadratmeter per kunde, hvilket var en langt mindre forhindring end tidligere på året, hvor der var markant større krav til antallet af kvadratmeter per kunde.

AutoBranchen Danmarks adm. direktør Gitte Seeberg fortæller om afskaffelsen:

”Årsagen til det afskaffede arealkrav er, at Sundhedsstyrelsen ikke længere anbefaler én meters afstand til andre personer. Det er nu ændret til, at man skal holde afstand, når det er muligt. Det er fantastisk for både branchen og samfundet, at vi nu er så langt, at den sidste restriktion kan ophæves”, siger Gitte Seeberg.
