Det er afgørende for medarbejdernes sundhed og virksomhedens pengepung, at værkstedets friskluftsystem er vedligeholdt – især når der lakeres og repareres biler, hvor det er et lovkrav.

Derfor tilbyder AutoBranchen Danmark sammen med ABAS Miljøservice en kontrolpakke, der sørger for, at friskluftsystemet forsyner medarbejderne med ren luft, og som samtidig forhindrer Arbejdstilsynet i at uddele bøder, hvis styrelsen kommer på besøg.

System skal kontrolleres hvert år

En kontrolpakke betyder konkret besøg af en akkrediteret medarbejder, der tager en prøve og sender den til test på et laboratorie. Herfra afgøres det, om den luft der sendes ud i medarbejdernes åndedrætsværn, lever op til myndighedernes standard.

René Thomsen, der er lakkonsulent hos AutoBranchen Danmark og som har arbejdet som selvstændig autolakerer i 15 år, mener, at kontrolpakken er oplagt at kigge på:

“Værnemidler er et stort og vigtigt område for Arbejdstilsynet, når virksomheder i autobranchen kontrolleres. Det sker selvfølgelig for at beskytte medarbejdernes bedst muligt på værkstederne. Det omfatter især kemiske produkter eller åndedrætsværn med friskluft”, siger René Thomsen og tilføjer:

“Friskluft-systemer skal som minimum kontrolleres en gang om året for at leve op til kravene. Så kontrolpakken kan være givet godt ud”, siger René Thomsen.
