Både værksteder og autolakerere kan få besøg af Arbejdstilsynet i den kommende tid. Det sker for at sikre, at virksomhederne overholder reglerne for især værnemidler, værktøj, løfteudstyr, uddannelsesbeviser, kørekort og øvrige dokumenter.
Herunder en Arbejdspladsvurdering (APV) og en kemisk APV, der viser, hvordan man håndterer kemiske produkter.
René Thomsen, lakkonsulent hos AutoBranchen Danmark, er dagligt i kontakt med autolakerere og værksteder. Han opfordrer alle til at få bragt orden i både det fysiske og psykiske arbejdsmiljø.
“Arbejdstilsynet har fået tilført langt flere ressourcer end tidligere til at gennemføre kontrolbesøg, og det omfatter også autobranchen, hvor især værksteder og autolakerere vil være i fokus. På kontroleftersynene gennemgås mange af de relevante maskiner og værktøj. Tilsynet har også fokus på de rette værnemidler for medarbejderne, og det kunne eksempelvis være friskluftssystemer, siger René Thomsen og tilføjer:
“Sammenlagt skal det bidrage til, at man har en sikker arbejdsplads, hvor risikoen for dødsulykker eller alvorlige skader er minimeret mest muligt.
